What is a GMR and who needs one?
A Goods Movement Reference (GMR) is an electronic barcode issued by HMRC’s Goods Vehicle Movement Service. Every commercial truck carrying goods through UK Ro-Ro ports must have a valid GMR to board ferries or trains.
Can a driver board without a GMR?
